\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

In Poker, bad luck refers to cards higher than the top card of the board. For example, a flop of 6-4-2 would have two overcards, 10-9 and 9-9, meaning that there is no flush possible with these cards. In poker, the opposite of bad luck is overplay, when a player plays their hand frequently without raising. A player can check the pot during a betting round. However, the caller must call a new raise in order to stay in the game.<\/p>\n

In the betting phases of Poker, all but one player can fold. At the end of the round, the winning player wins the pot, which is a set amount of money, called the pot. During betting phases, players may raise or fold their bets, which is called “sandbagging”. The final round is the “showdown” where the winning player must reveal his hand in order to win. The betting interval in Poker may have two or more betting phases, depending on the type of game.<\/p>\n

Players can play Poker with as many as five players. The ideal number is between six and eight players. The game is played using five-card poker. In this game, the value of each hand is inversely proportional to its mathematical frequency. In poker, players may either bet their hand’s value or bluff, in which case the other player must match their bet.
